Space elevator

Space elevator, a mega structure allowing cheap and fast delivery of materials or components to Earth’s orbit. This concept involves the use of a counter-weight and a huge cable connecting both ends. By using the inertia generated by the earth rotation, it is guaranteed that the cable always stays firmly stretched. “Climbers” would then use the cable as a platform to raise to space.
